Introduction to Alpacas


Interested in finding out a little more about these beautiful animals. Come and enjoy our animals on the edge of the Cotswolds and take the opportunity to get up close to these captivating creatures.This half day experience will give you some insight into their history, care requirements and what it feels like to be with them.It will also give you the opportunity to have a go at felting with their fibre. Be warned, having been so involved this may turn into a life changing experience!

Introduction and History
Basic care and husbandry with "hands on" experience
Haltering and an alpaca walk
Introduction to fibre processing and a chance to do some felting

The experience is 2.5+ hours, starting at 10am. Group bookings can be organised at a time to suit. £45 per person with refreshments and materials. Groups are limited to six, so this would make a very special surprise. Not suitable for children under the age of 12 years.  Experiences can be personalised for that ultimate present.
